Autoplan was developed from the need to have facility design meet the requirements of today’s service equipment. Gordon Manock, founder and President of Autoplan, started in the equipment sales business. Closely working with dealers, Gordon became familiar with their equipment needs and soon realized that those equipment needs did not necessarily fit into their building. He also realized customers were unsure of where to locate the equipment in order to maximize service. With his equipment sales and architectural drafting experience, a business plan was developed and he has been successfully designing service departments and integrating equipment for dealers across Canada and the United States for 25 years.
